I’m not great at this. Especially the looking at what you have & then having a good vision of what you want & how to get there from here.
I’m trying to figure out what to do here. Reshape the gardens? Leave as they are? I need some bigger plant back there behind the hostas, but what? Any one out there know of mid-sized shade-living plants?
Here are some pics of what’s planted in front of the house. We have very little sun up there, so we don’t have a lot of options. But I do really like the hosta assortment and the Azaleas.
And the Brown Eyed Susan’s finally bloomed!!!! Yay!
And our veggie garden…well…who needs weeding anyway!?
And one really fun project is one that Michael thought of & executed all by himself. He turned an old wheelbarrow into a little Mary grotto! Next we’ll be splitting some hostas to plant back there. She may later be know as Our Lady of the Hostas.
We also went to the Toledo Botanical Gardens last week to get some ideas. It was our first time there and so many cool ideas. And some other exciting thugs happened while we were there. But I’ll save that for another post!
